Perhaps because of the lack of progress on my own high school photography assignment I decided to take a look through Jona Frank’s High School recently. I came across High School for the first time about a year ago while researching for another project; while it didn’t fit what I was looking for it did catch my eye so I made a note to check it out when I had time. McKinley Technology High School is located at 151 T Street Northeast Washington, DC, overlooking the Capitol Dome and Washington Monument. If you ask Gideon Sanders, the Director of Partnerships and Internships, it is the “best view in the city.” McKinley is a singular school in the District in that it is the only high school in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) path of the Catalyst Program.
